The San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department’s 2009-10 Fall/Winter Activity Guide is now online.
The guide lists various fees for membership, the pool, fitness classes and a variety of sports for adults and children.
Also featured is a full course listing for adult and youth Nature Center Classes.
The activity guide has a variety of Parks and Recreation sponsored trips including the state fair in Dallas, a performance at the Rock Box Theater in Fredericksburg and a holiday shopping and lights tour in Salado, just to name a few.
This year Jason Scull, the artist responsible for the Jack C. Hays statue in the courthouse square, will be instructing on the art of sculpting the horse. A Native American flute playing workshop is also offered.
Registering online is recommended as eco-friendly. It is suggested that participants sign up early for the programs and courses to avoid disappointment.
