City recognizes Wide-Lite achievement

Wide-Lite, a Phillips group brand and San Marcos Manufacturer of lighting products, was honored by the City of San Marcos after being winning the Best in Category Innovation Award at the LIGHTFAIR International conference, which was recently held in New York City.

Wide-Lite’s LED parking garage luminaire was singled out for its technical and design innovation in front of more than 20,000 industry professionals.

  1. I’ve heard that Philips is very happy with the recently acquired San Marcos facility and that they like the available pool of potential employees we have to offer. I believe their CEO even paid San Marcos a visit, maybe a year ago. It would be interesting to see if they could be enticed to expand their operations here.
