The Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce (KACC) recently won five awards from the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE), four of which were first place. The awards were presented at TCCE’s Annual Conference in Lubbock on June 30.
KACC took home more awards than any chamber of commerce in Texas. It took first place honors for its work on the Kyle Fair and Music Festival Brochure, the KACC website, a map of Kyle and the “Kyle, Texas – Simply Charming” brochure. The chamber also took third place in the magazine/directory category.
“The Kyle Area Chamber is committed to working with partners like the City of Kyle in creating a community where economic and tourism development can flourish,” KACC Executive Director Ray Hernandez said. “These awards are a testament to the hard work and vision of many volunteers and staff members in telling the great story that is ‘Kyle, Texas-Simply Charming'”
The City of Kyle will recognize the achievements Tuesday night during the public comment section of its city council meeting at 6:30 p.m.
“In a fast growing community such as ours, it is inspiring to see the fine results of standing hand in hand in telling the great story that is Kyle, Texas,” said Kyle Mayor Mike Gonzales. “Kyle, Texas, is a great place to visit, with many attractions and historical sites for tourist and residences to enjoy.”
Said Kyle City Manager Tom Mattis, “The Kyle Area Chamber Of Commerce has done as outstanding job in promoting the City of Kyle as a destination for business and tourist. I’m very proud of the partnership between the city and the chamber and congratulate them on their accomplishments.”
