Precinct 4 office to offer immunizations

Immunizations for children and adults will now be available at the new Hays County Precinct 4 government center, located at 195 Roger Hanks Parkway in Dripping Springs. The immunizations will be issued by the Hays County Personal Health Department (HCPHD).

“The new facility is large enough to accommodate a wellness program like this, and we’re delighted to bring this service to Dripping Springs area residents,” said HCPHD Director Priscilla Hargraves. “We’ll be offering all vaccines required or recommended by the State of Texas for ages two months and up, including adults.”

Travel vaccines will not be offered, according to Hargraves.

Every first Thursday, until further notice, service will be on a first-come, first-served basis from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Immunizations are available to children with or without a CHIP or Medicaid card. Adults who are uninsured or underinsured can qualify for the Texas Vaccine for Children program.

Persons enrolled in any of the above programs should bring their eligibility cards with them, as well as any available shot records.

For more information, contact the HCPHD at (512) 393-5520.
