Texas State’s softball team has had its games this weekend at Northwestern State moved back a day because of rainy weather.
The Bobcats were going to play a double header at Northwestern State on Saturday, then play a single game Sunday. Instead, the two teams will play a double header on Sunday, starting at noon. A Monday game has yet to be scheduled.
Texas State is 29-14 overall, leading the Southland Conference with a 16-5 league record. Texas State holds a two-game lead in the league. Northwestern State enters the series 5-35 overall and 3-20 in the Southland Conference.
Historically, however, Northwestern State leads Texas State in their head-to-head games, 48-44.
