The Price Seniors Center will hold its 1st Annual “Living Legends” luncheon on March 26, at 11:30 a.m.
The “Living Legends” are those who have the vision and the capacity to help the Price Center recognize and achieve its full potential.
The honorees are John Navarrette, Gwen Smith, Frances Stovall, Evelyn Meehan, and Miriam and Emmett McCoy. Each of them made their own distinctive contributions to the Price Center.
The featured speaker for the ceremony is Krista Gebbia, CEO of Preservation Texas. This non-profit corporation works to protect natural landscapes and endangered issues, as well as structural salvation and reuse.
The Price Center was given an award for the best adaptive reuse in Texas in 2004, by Preservation Texas.
