Amber Alert issued for missing teen


A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for Patricia Acevedo, 14, of Rosenberg, who was reported missing Feb. 24 at 8:15 a.m.

Acevedo, a Hispanic female, is 5 feet, 3 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes, weighing 125 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white sweater, yellow shirt, blue pants and yellow shoes.

Authorities believe Angel Garcia, 24, to be a suspect in the abduction. Garcia, a Hispanic male, is described as being 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Garcia is believed to be driving a blue Chevrolet pickup truck with an extended cab, Texas license plate number 760-VZ7. Anyone with information is advised to immediately contact the Rosenberg Police Department at (832) 595-3700.

  1. That’s good advice in general, but given the story let’s not be so quick to cast judgments. We don’t know how she ended up like this. The objective should be to find the girl and not lay blame. God willing she’ll be found soon, safe and unharmed.

  2. she did not get kidnapped.. thats a big lie?? thats her boyfriend who supposely kidnapped her they beeen going out for a long ass time and lus she even called him to go pick her up at school foster high school and please quit making up suggestions about angel hes so innocent. so try next time to investigate something right okay.
