School’s out for in-service, MLK Day

Neither San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District nor Hays CISD schools will be in session on Monday, Jan. 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

In addition, San Marcos students do not report to class Friday, Jan. 16 for a district faculty and staff workday. Classes for both school districts resume Tuesday, Jan. 20.

San Marcos trustees will hold a regular meeting 6:30 p.m. Jan. 20 preceded by a School Board Appreciation Month public reception at 5:30 p.m. Hays CISD trustees meet 6:30 p.m. Jan. 21 for a work session.
