The classic car museum in San Marcos will add to historic automobile exhibits in the Central Texas Museum of Automotive History, founded by the Burdick family in 1980 in Rosanky, Texas as a non-profit, educational foundation.

“It has been a long term dream of mine to bring to San Marcos a classic car museum,” said Dick Burdick. “I am happy to say that we are well on our way to making this dream a reality.

Dick’s Classic Car Museum in San Marcos will be approximately 43,000 square feet and house more than 60 of the Burdick family’s classic vehicle collection. Exhibits will be rotated periodically.

The collection will trace the development of the automobile and its effect on the social and economic climate of the world.
