From the City of Kyle

KYLE – The Kyle Police Department (KPD) is inviting residents to the next “Community Crime Watch” monthly meeting to be held at Kyle City Hall on Monday, Oct. 20, at 6:30 p.m.

The KPD has created the Community Crime Watch program to begin fostering an open, involved, and collaborative partnership with the community, said KPD Chief Michael Blake.

“Via these monthly meetings, it is the department’s goal is to share information regarding crime and traffic trends, and to help our residents be better informed on matters that may affect them, their families, their neighborhoods or their businesses,” Blake said.

KPD representatives including the Chief, the Patrol Captain, neighborhood beat officers and detectives will be on hand to share information and insight, and to individually respond to specific questions and concerns.

This program serves as the first step in a number of new community-based initiatives that the KPD hopes to implement in the next twelve months.
