Three county law enforcement groups ask voters to re-elect Commissioner Conley
Wimberley-Hays County Commissioner Will Conley announced today that he received the endorsement of every Hays County law enforcement association in his re-election campaign.
The endorsing organizations include the Hays County Law Enforcement Association, the Hill Country Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police, and the Combined Law Enforcement Association of Texas.
“I have worked hard to support our local officers and improve public safety, and I am proud to receive the endorsement of every Hays County law enforcement association,” said Conley.
In May, Commissioner Conley received accolades for his leadership on a much-needed pay raise for Hays County sheriff’s deputies. The pay increase will make Hays County competitive with surrounding counties and keep experienced officers serving on the county’s force.
Commissioner Conley also sponsored the Bulletproof Vest Partnership Program to give Hays County deputies the safety equipment they deserve, and increased patrols in San Marcos and Wimberley neighborhoods to keep families safe.
“Over the past four years, public safety in Hays County has improved greatly. I look forward to continuing this progress in the years to come,” said Conley.
