See You at the Pole gathering at SMHS

About 100 people attended the annual See You at the Pole gathering of students, parents, teachers, and community members at the San Marcos High School. From about 7 -8 am, the group met to pray, read scripture, and sing songs. See You at the Pole is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event wherein all who participate meet at the campus flagpole prior to school beginning. The event is held annually on the fourth Wedneday in September.

  1. SYATP 08 was truely inspiring! I was there, and the students were moved by the Spirit of God. See you at the pole was for christian students to come together, forgetting the labels or groups that they were in, to pray for schools, their community, and the nation in unity. It is for students to stand up for Christ and to help eachother through out the year. This was an awesome SYATP, and I pray that the students continue to live out their faith at school and in their community.
