Hays County Crime Stoppers is assisting the Hays County Sheriff’s Office in solving the following Burglary of a Vehicle and Credit Card Abuse.On or about the afternoon of Wednesday, June 11th, 2008, a pick up truck was broken into while it was parked by the San Marcos River in Caldwell County. The victim’s wallet containing his identification and credit cards was stolen out of the truck.
Then on Saturday, June 21st at approximately 4:30pm, the person identified in the accompanying photograph used one of the stolen credit cards at the Wal-Mart in Buda. The suspect also used the same stolen credit card at approximately 7:00pm that same evening at the Wal-Mart on HWY 80 in San Marcos. Over $500 in purchases were charged to the stolen credit card. Hays County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have no leads as to the identity of the suspect in this case and need your help to bring this felon to justice.
