Tuesday at approximately 2:30pm, the Hays County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a burglary that had just occurred at an address on Wildcat Hollow which is located just south of the city of Kyle.
Arriving deputies were told by the homeowners that when they arrived home, they saw a suspicious car parked in their driveway and when they approached the house, they saw subjects they did not know run from their home. They checked the house and found that forced entry had been made into the home.
Descriptions were obtained and Deputies began a search of the area and quickly located one of the suspects near the home. At around 5:00pm, two additional suspects were found on Center Street in the City of Kyle. All three suspects were transported to the Hays County Corrections Facility.
They are identified as Mauricio Alvarado Rodriguez Jr. wm 2-11-91 of Kyle, Moises Rodriguez wm 8-02-88 of Kyle, and Carlos Sefriano Albarez wm 3-10-77 of Lockhart. All are charged with Burglary, a second degree felony. Bond for Moises Rodriguez and Mauricio Rodriguez is $10,000.00. Albarez has warrants from Bastrop and Caldwell Counties as well as the Hays County charge and his bonds are set at a total of $240,000.00.
All three remain in custody at the Hays County Corrections Facility.
