Writing Center hosts Creative Writing Camp for high school students

Texas State University-San Marcos Writing Center will host a Creative Writing Camp for high school students June 26-20 and 23-27.The camp will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, meeting in the Texas State Writing Center, room G09 of Flowers Hall. Cost is $100 with scholarships available.

Graduate students Billie Bernard and Ben Engel will serve as writing instructors. Space is limited to 15 participants. Participating students wishing to stay on campus will have the choice of guest or dorm housing for an additional cost, along with on-campus meal plans.

Applicants must submit a writing sample, completed application, and $50 deposit to Nancy Wilson, Texas State University, Department of English, San Marcos, TX 78666.
