Rio Vista Pool Party Lottery Slated April 9

Communications DirectorThe City Parks and Recreation Department will hold a lottery for residents to reserve Rio Vista Swimming Pool for private parties during the 2008 summer season.

Residents interested in pool reservations should attend the lottery drawing at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9 at the Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins

The pool, located at Rio Vista Park, may be reserved through the lottery for pool parties during evening hours. The lottery is held because more requests are made for the facility than the number of available reservations.

Lottery winners will be able to reserve the pool during non-public hours on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays from June through August. Prices per hour vary according to the number of guests and lifeguards required.
