City, county agree to move forward on McCarty Lane

Hays County commissioners and San Marcos city council members both cast votes Tuesday authorizing the city to move forward on improvements to McCarty Lane, even though the initiative will cost the county up to $5 million in pass-through funds from the Texas Department of Transportation.
