Park, wetlands back in shooting sports request

Proponents of a shooting sports complex project on the San Marcos River have put land for wetlands and a riverfront park back in their request to the county, saying the property owner is willing to negotiate. The asking price is $5.5 million, and the county has $3.4 million in remaining parks bond money.
