A federal appeals court ruled last week that residential development codes passed by the Kyle City Council in 2003 do not discriminate against minorities. The city has been defending itself against the suit for five years.

The City of Kyle beat a lawsuit filed by the Home Builders Association (HBA) and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), which alleged that a 2003 residential development ordinance discriminated against minorities.
