Guerrero spends half as much as Thomaides in 2010 mayoral victory

Daniel Guerrero, who squeaked past John Thomaides in last November's San Marcos mayoral election, claimed victory despite spending half as much as his opponent. Campaign finance reports from July 2010 to January 2011 show that Guerrero spent $24,385.56, compared with $48,478.92 spent by Thomaides.
