Hays County Commissioners approved a Chapter 381 agreement to fund $2.7 million in road improvements for a US Foodservice facility outside of Buda. US Foodservice is to pay back the loan within 20 years.

The Texas Supreme Court announced last week that it would refuse to hear a request filed by opponents of a US Foodservice distribution facility east of Buda, clearing the way for construction of the facility.
