Aquarena’s historic glass-bottom boats to undergo restoration

The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment’s historic fleet of wooden glass-bottom boats at Texas State University are receiving a makeover, both cosmetically and functionally so that visitors can continue a 70-year Spring Lake tradition.

Winn’s ‘Morning Glories’ sculpture airlifted from Aquarena Center

A helicopter is flying the skies above Hays County today as it airlifts the massive "Morning Glories" sculpture in pieces from Texas State University's Aquarena Center to a new home at a private ranch in Wimberley.

Total lunar eclipse to take place in the wee hours of Tuesday

A horror film loaded with local talent will premier at Texas State's Theatre Building on June 26. "Homecoming" was written by recent Texas State graduate Dorell Anthony and directed by Texas State alumnus Steve Bazan.
