Despite ‘hiccups,’ Buda interstate overpass still in line for federal stimulus funding, Barton says

Local and regional officials have resolved a conflict with the Federal Highway Administration over whether construction of Cement Plant Road overpass in Buda qualifies for $7.3 million in funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Hays County Pct. 2 Commissioner Jeff Barton said.

Stimulus funds flow to Kyle flood control dam

U.S. Rep. Lloyd Doggett today announced that $2.4 million in federal funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will be used for flood control projects along Plum Creek in Hays County.
