Friends mourned San Marcos area native Sara Mutschlechner’s death — and celebrated her life — with a candlelight vigil on Thursday following her funeral. The 20-year-old University of North Texas undergraduate was gunned down in her car on a Denton street early New Year’s Day, a brutal crime been received with shock and disbelief.
