Triple Crown, 206 North Edward Gary, played host on Dec. 12 to The Beaumonts’ Third Annual Christmas Show and Honky Tonk Food Drive. The show was successful, and so was the food drive, which featured prizes, music and that warm feeling you get when you do something nice for others.

The Beamonts raised a whopping 4,500 pounds of food (cash and food combined) in just a few short hours from the generous patrons at Triple Crown. All the donations went to the Hays County Food Bank. In addition to raising cash and food, the band managed to raise a few spirits with their own raucous brand of Honky Tonk.

Troy Wayne Delco, lead guitar/vocals, said the band is looking forward to doing it again next year because “it was so easy and we had so much great help.”

The event was sponsored by Triple Crown, Skydive San Marcos, Mazak Music, Green Guy Recycling, Vagabond Vintage Clothing, 1836 Ink, Dizzy Tee Designs, Zen’s Pizza Bistro, Arclight Records, and Chuy’s.
