Toy donation made easy by local businesses

Several local small business owners have joined forces to help provide gifts for San Marcos children this holiday season with the first annual McNabb-Shy Toy Drive.

Those wishing to participate can donate a new, unwrapped gift to place under the Christmas tree at Harper’s Public House, 139 East Hopkins Street, by Dec. 18. Donors will be rewarded with a cocktail “on the house.”

Suggested gifts include puzzles, books, action figures, board games and dolls.

This initiative is sponsored by Harper’s Public House, J’s Bistro, McNabb & Co. Real Estate Services, Billy McNabb Attorney at Law and J Ortega Design Group.
