Rattlers win cross country district

The San Marcos High School girls cross country team recently won the District 17-4A championship meet.

The Rattlers advance to the Region III meet in Humble this weekend. The Rattlers, under head coach Eloy Collazo, hadn’t won a cross country title in 20 years.

The team members are Hailey Westfall, Kathryn Walpole, Mia Finch, Team Captain Solana Dever, Gisselle Gallegos, Laura Artiles and Carrie Walpole.
