300 Block of Haynes Street to Close for Wastewater Project

Construction crews will begin excavating the south lane of the intersection of Riverside Drive and Haynes Street beginning October 3, 2008. The 300 block of Haynes Street will be closed to through traffic for approximately six weeks, until mid November.

Residential traffic will be allowed access during the construction. The closure is related to the Riverside MKT Wastewater Interceptor Project. The new interceptor line will carry wastewater by gravity flow to the City’s main lift station east of IH 35. Completion of the project is expected in January of 2009.
