Outdoor and indoor vendor space is available for rent at 4th Flea, a community flea market held monthly at The Price Center downtown. The next market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 22.

“A growing number of shoppers and return vendors are helping to make the Market a monthly success. Our vendors are always diverse, and attendees — including me — seldom leave empty-handed,” said Clay DeStefano, the center’s executive director.

Booth spaces cost $20 on the front lawn or $30 for a space inside the center’s main lobby. Vendors need to bring their own tents, tables and display material; setup is 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. the day of the sale.

Money raised through booth rentals benefits The Price Center, which is operated at 222 W. San Antonio St. by the nonprofit Greater San Marcos Area Seniors Association.

Built in 1893 as the First Christian Church and expanded in 1910, the Price Center was purchased by San Marcos Telephone Co. owner, H.Y. Price Jr., in 1994 and donated to the city for use as a senior adult or youth center.
