4:36 p.m. OCT. 5 | Texas State University police have made an arrest in a sexual assault that occurred at the Bobcat Village apartments on Oct. 3, officials said in an email. Details about the arrest are not immediately available, but police said it is not related to a reported assault on Monday by a man dressed as a clown at the same apartment complex.



8:16 p.m. OCT. 4 | A man wearing a clown costume grabbed a woman outside an on-campus apartment complex Monday evening, Texas State University police warned students today in a mass email.

The crown grabbed the woman as she left the Bobcat Village apartments, 1301 Aquarena Springs Drive, at about 5:45 p.m. Oct. 3. The woman was able to pull away from the clown and left the area.

Police are investigating the incident as an assault. The incident was not reported until about 7 p.m. today, police said.

The suspect is described at about 6 feet, 2 inches tall with an athletic build. He was dressed in a black-and-white striped jumpsuit and a green wig with a face painted white with black around the eyes.
