Hays County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 22-year-old woman early Friday morning after picking her up outside a San Marcos bar.

Interviewed at Central Texas Medical Center on Friday, the woman told sheriff’s office detectives that she became extremely ill while drinking at a downtown San Marcos bar at about 3 a.m. March 6, said Lt. Jeri Skrocki, the sheriff’s office spokesperson. She stepped outside the bar to vomit and was approached by the suspect who asked he she needed help and then pulled her into his vehicle.

The woman told police that she was taken to an unknown location where she was sexually assaulted while blacked out. The suspect dropped the victim off at a San Marcos residence later that day.

Investigators today released a composite sketch of the suspect, described by the victim as a dark-skinned man standing between 5 feet, five inches and five feet, eight inches tall and weighing 120 to 135 pounds. The suspect is also described as having very poor hygiene.
