Paying off toll roads could top $30 billion, TxDOT says

If Texas decided to pay off the construction debt for nearly all of its toll roads tomorrow, the price tag would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $30 billion – at least according to a preliminary report from the Texas Department of Transportation.

Small fire prompts lunchtime evacuation at Logan’s Roadhouse

A small fire on the roof of the Logan’s Roadhouse in San Marcos prompted an evacuation of the restaurant during the Wednesday lunch hour. There were no injuries, and damage to the building was minor.
