10:39 p.m. SUNDAY, JUNE 28: The National Weather Service has upgraded its flood advisory for the San Marcos and Martindale areas to a flash flood warning. The warning is in effect until 12:30 a.m. Monday, June 29.


10:14 p.m. SUNDAY, JUNE 28 — The National Weather Service’s Austin/San Antonio office has issued a flood advisory for southeastern Hays, west central Caldwell and northern Guadalupe counties.

At 9:52 p.m., the weather service’s Doppler indicate heavy run due to thunderstorms which is expected to cause minor rain in the San Marcos, Martindale, Uhland, Redwood, Maxwell and Reedville areas.

An estimated 1.5 inches has already fallen with another one or two inches expected, according to the weather service. The flood advisory is in effect until midnight.
