KYLE — Hays County Sheriff’s Office investigators have not yet identified a suspect who pulled a gun on a grocery store clerk during an armed robbery more than two weeks ago.

Hays County Crime Stoppers is offering an award of up to $1,000 for information that leads to his arrest.

At about 3:30 p.m. June 6, a man confronted the cashier with a handgun and demanded money at the La Mexicana store, 2790 Goforth Road, sheriff’s office Sgt. Mike Wood said. The suspect fled westbound on Goforth Road in a white crew- or double- cab Ford F150 pickup truck.

The only available description of the suspect is that he was wearing a dark-colored shirt and denim jeans. Video surveillance shows the robber wielding a dark-colored gun in his right hand.
