FROM SUBMITTED REPORTS
This just in from Hays County spokesperson Laureen Chernow:
If you want to donate to the disaster relief effort in Hays County Sunday, May 31 and Monday, June 1, the most needed items are:
- First aid kits
- Heavy-duty electrical cords
- Work gloves
- Dish soap
- Cleaning supplies
The donation center is not staffed to sort used items and some used items are not accepted for health and safety reasons, so please bring only new items to the Center at 200 Springtown Way in San Marcos (loading dock in back of former big box store, Suite 150) between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.
