This just in from Hays County spokesperson Laureen Chernow:

Due to the possibility of additional flash flooding and the continuing danger posed by existing conditions, Hays County Judge Bert Cobb and the city of Wimberley have ordered a curfew beginning 9 p.m. May 26 and ending 6 a.m. May 27 for the following areas in and around Wimberley:

  • Fischer Store Road
  • Ranch Road 12 at the Blanco River
  • Flite Acres Road
  • Deer Crossing
  • River Road
  • Haschke Road

Citizens in the Wimberley area are encouraged to avoid affected areas during this time of disaster relief. People wanting to volunteer equipment or time should send an email here.
