SAN ANTONIO — A cross-county planning group will hold meetings in Seguin and Boerne next week to take comments on a regional bicycle and pedestrian study covering Bexar and adjacent counties.
Other public meetings on the study, including one in New Braunfels, will be scheduled early next year, officials say.
Funded by the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, the project includes a hike-and-bike master plan for the city of San Antonio and recommendations for closing holes in the San Antonio National Historic Park’s trail system. The organization is also inventorying bicycle and pedestrian conditions in Comal and Guadalupe counties, as well as the portion of Kendall County over which it has jurisdiction.
