David Frank Fountain, 1943 to 2014

WIMBERLEY — David Frank Fountain, 70, of Wimberley died on April 2 in Austin. He was born on August 4, 1943 in Dallas to Arlis and Mary Francis Fountain (Huston).



Fountain is survived by a daughter and three sons: Misti Yoes and her husband, David, of Coppell; David Fountain of Austin; Chase Fountain and his wife, Laura, of Kyle; Court Fountain and his wife, Valarie, of Portland. He is also survived by sister Neva Nash and her husband, Ed, of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister Donna Bratton and her husband, Ray, of Los Alamos, N.M.; brother Donald Fountain and his wife, Brenda Farley, of Mt. Juliet, Tenn; ten grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and thirteen nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 7 at Thomason Funeral Home in Wimberley. A visitation will start at noon before the service. Graveside services, with full military honors, will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8 at the Chico Cemetery in Chico.
