DRIPPING SPRINGS — Jennifer Margot Reed-Sanders, 55, of Dripping Springs died on Wednesday, March 19 in Austin.
Born in Oklahoma City, Okla. on November 7, 1958, Reed-Sanders moved to Texas in 1976 and to the Austin area in 1977. Known to friends as “Jenni,” Reed-Sanders worked in the Southland Corp.’s accounting department and at Railey’s before returning to school to earn a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002.
Reed-Sanders attended Dripping Springs United Methodist Church and and participated in an Emmaus Walk.
She is survived by Michael Lee Sanders, to whom she was married for 33 years; her mother, Mona Jean Reed of Bethany, Okla.; and by aunts, uncles and a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Clyde Reed.
The family will receive friends 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 23 at Drippings Springs United Methodist Church, 28900 Ranch Rd 12, followed by a service at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Phillips Cemetery near Dripping Springs.
