The San Marcos High School girls basketball team has made one pass through District 25-5A and still is looking for that first district win.

The Rattlers will go for it Tuesday night, when they play at San Antonio Wagner (7 p.m).

The Rattlers played at home against Converse Judson last Friday and were never in the game, losing, 53-34. The loss dropped San Marcos to 11-19 overall and 0-5 in the district. Judson is 18-6 and 4-1.

The Rockets jumped out to leads of 15-8 after one quarter and 28-15 at half.

Natalie Rios led the Rattlers with points, followed by Bailey Hill with seven and Raelyn Jackson with six.

Wagner, who the Rattlers play Tuesday night, leads the district at 5-0 (15-10 overall).

With five games remaining in the regular season, the Rattlers are two games out of playoff position, trailing fourth-place New Braunfels (2-3) and fifth-place New Braunfels Canyon (1-4).
