Mark Sebby and Friends are stand-outs at Riley’s tonight
A daily rundown of live entertainment in and around San Marcos tonight, compiled by Mercury Scene Editor Hap Mansfield and our content partners at San Marcos Tonight.
Well, it surely does seem empty ’round these parts with so many Texas musicians performing at the six-day Texas/Americana music festival in Steamboat Springs, Colorado right now. Even Kent Finlay is there (where he will receive well-deserved accolades) and so are a host of San Marcos music regulars like Jason Boland, Whiskey Myers, Wade Bowen, William Clark Green, Walt Wilkins and a host of others. So it’s mighty nice to have Mark Sebby around to remind us we still have some fine Texas music in the area this week. Sebby (and friends) will be at Riley’s Tavern tonight at 9 p.m. His hot guitar licks will warm you up and his music will get your cold feet to tappin’. He’s a don’t-miss gig. More than that, he’s a run-don’t-walk-to-hear-him gig. We’re sure we could add more hyphenated quips but we know you get the drift. Go!
