UTSA established a 10-point lead with a three-pointer to start the second half. The Bobcats were able to cut that deficit down to four at various times througout the second half, but couldn’t make it closer until 1:31 remained and Ashley Ezeh made to free throws to bring them within 84-81.
With 26 seconds remaining, Jasmine Baugus made a jumper for the Bobcats, bringing them within 84-83. However, UTSA made two free throws after the Bobcats fouled quickly.
