The San Marcos City Council officially designated Dec. 4-7 as “Sights & Sounds of Christmas Weekend” in San Marcos. A San Marcos seasonal staple since 1987, the festival features hundreds of thousands of sparkling lights, an imposing 75-foot Christmas tree, live music on the Christmas Stage, the Christmas Carousel and a carnival.
