Where to vote in Hays County today

With the exception of city council contests in San Marcos, Buda and Woodcreek, there are limited local races on the Nov. 5 ballot, typical for an odd-year election.

Voters in western Hays County will pick a board member for the Hays Trinity Groundwater Conservation District and voters in the Kyle area will decide whether to adopt a sales tax in parts of Emergency Services District No. 5. There are nine proposed amendments to the state constitution and 25 proposed amendments to the San Marcos City Charter.

Anticipating low turnout, Hays County elections officials have consolidated voting boxes to a total of 18 polling locations. That means you may not vote where you normally do. Find your residence on this map — or plug it into the search bar — and find out where you cast a ballot today. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
