A daily rundown of live entertainment in and around San Marcos tonight, compiled by Mercury Scene Editor Hap Mansfield and our content partners at San Marcos Tonight.
As you can see from the listings below there is a cornucopia of delights this weekend. But, ultimately try to end up at Cheatham Street Warehouse tonight for Buster Jiggs. You’ll not hear Texas rock done much better than the stuff of Buster Jiggs (pictured). The blistering vocals of Kristin Muennink are perfectly phrased and the whole band will rock your socks off. Their most recent EP, Dirty Little Secrets, has met with same critical acclaim they must be very used to by now. They will be kicking out the jams and making the evening a merry one at the venerable old cotton warehouse. If you are looking for an earlier pick-me-up head to Superfly’s Lone Star Music Emporium for an in-store performance from the popular Reckless Kelly. It would be the perfect appetizer to the banquet that is Buster Jiggs.
