Tonight’s Best Bet

The Cheatham Street Warehouse hosts Whiskey Myers  (pictured) tonight. Their amalgam of Southern Rock and Texas Country is a mighty tasty mix. They also write a great story song and they topped the Texas charts with their single “Anna Marie”. At the Lampasas Building at Texas State there will be a reception for the art featured at the Gallery of Common Experience, “Mind Into Matter” the works address the ways in which art intersects with an artist’s mentality: selections made in a states of celebration and grief; pieces that coincided with paradigm shifts; psychological portraits; short films that involved eye-opening research and intense personal experiences; poetry written to express a state of mind; and works that resulted in emotional healing for the artist. Sounds interesting.

Whiskey Myers – RESCHEDULED
Cheatham Street Warehouse is sorry to announce that the Whiskey Myers performance scheduled for tonight (Thursday September 5th) has been rescheduled for THURSDAY OCTOBER 10th.
Due to a mechanical breakdown, Whiskey Myers is unable to get to San Marcos.
