A daily rundown of live entertainment in and around San Marcos tonight, compiled by Mercury Scene Editor Hap Mansfield and our content partners at San Marcos Tonight.

Tonight’s Best Bet

There is nobody quite like Mark Allan Atwood. (pictured) who will be at Cypress Creek Cafe with his band of marvelous musicians, Brimstone. Often called a cross between Merle Haggard and Jackson Browne, this just scratches the surface of Atwood’s sound which is both tough and tender, mean and sweet. His thirty-plus years of being in and around music assures of a professional performance and his dedication to the work. He’s a gem.
