A daily rundown of live entertainment in and around San Marcos tonight, compiled by Mercury Scene Editor Hap Mansfield and our content partners at San Marcos Tonight.
If you can’t find music tonight you just ain’t tryin’. The popular Two Tons of Steel play the last free concert in the park. The Hill Country Gentlemen play a free in-store gig at Superfly’s Lone Star Music Emporium. Red Carpet Chaos will blow you away at Taxi’s. Zakk Goodman is at Riley’s and those Irish/Celtic Jam sessions at Wake the Dead are loads of fun. Topping it off is Jenni Finlay Promotion’s Anniversary Party at Cheatham Street Warehouse– an all-star extravaganza of good music. It starts out with a bang with Dustin Welch and Javi Garcia at 8:30 p.m. then sparkles and pops with a great line-up that includes The Will Callers, HalleyAnna, Jess Klein, Brennen Leigh and Noel McKay and Shinyribs and ends up with the grand firework that is James McMurtry (pictured). It’s a don’t miss event for any music fan. Twenty bucks at the door. Unreal. Lucky you! Tonight you really can’t go wrong.
