San Marcos police are asking for help as they attempt to solve a string of recent aggravated robberies. The police say three of the four incidents appear to be related and possibly committed by the same individual.

On July 4, the 7-11 at 1004 N. Interstate 35, was robbed by a black male who claimed to have a weapon. On July 11, the Conoco Fast Stop at 1101 Texas 123, was robbed by a black male who displayed a pistol. On July 28, the Sac N Pac at 500 S. Guadalupe St. reported that a black male wearing a ski mask attempted to enter the store, but the door was locked and the man ran away on foot. On July 30, another aggravated robbery occurred at the intersection of Eastwood and Mill Streets. This incident involved the robbery of a driver who had stopped for a stop sign and was approached by two men. One of the men was armed with a pistol and demanded the victim’s purse.

Anyone with possible information on the identity of the offenders or information which may help lead to their identity is asked to call the San Marcos Police Department (SMPD) non-emergency number at 512-753-2108 or the Criminal Investigations Division at 512-753-2300.
