A daily rundown of live entertainment in and around San Marcos tonight, compiled by Mercury Scene Editor Hap Mansfield and our content partners at San Marcos Tonight.
Corpus Christi native Mando Saenz (pictured) has had a musical journey that took him from Mexico to Nashville and his thoughtful songs and beautiful voice reflect his travels. His third studio album, Studebaker (Carnival Records), was recently released and has already garnered a heap of critical acclaim. From earning an MBA in San Antonio to the Cheatham Street Warehouse tonight has been a strange and crazy journey which his songwriting mirrors with rock, pop and country imagery. He will also do an in-store appearance at Superfly’s Lone Star Music Emporium to whet your appetite for more. Also, don’t miss Cream Ridge, New Jersey’s Joe Kaplow as he makes his first transcontinental tour appearing at Wake the Dead Coffeehouse tonight.
